AhlulBayt News Agency: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei strongly condemned the killing of Ali Noureddine, a presenter for Al‑Manar TV, calling the act deeply reprehensible.
Baqaei extended his condolences to Noureddine’s family and Lebanon’s media community, describing the assassination as “a brutal terrorist act and a blatant breach of the core principles of international law that forbid attacks on journalists.”
Pointing to Israel’s ongoing violations of the late‑2024 ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, Baqaei urged regional states and the international community to assume their responsibility in confronting what he called Israeli “lawlessness and warmongering.”
